Mission Statement

This is a cooperative effort of many churches and individuals to bring relief to the hungry, the sick, the naked, and the homeless people of Haiti. Our ultimate goal is to bring them to Christ. Relief is given without regard to race, religion, color, or creed.
The Haiti Benefit Auction is held once a year on Labor Day weekend. The Ohio Haiti Benefit Auction was born in 1987 by brethren who, seeing the great need, had compassion on the poor people in Haiti. We are a channel through which people can contribute with auction items, or by helping. All labor is donated; all workers and board members are expected to pay for what they eat. There are no salaries and no commissions. All auction proceeds go 100% to the many missions in Haiti which are required to give a financial report, meet certain standards, and show proper use of funds in the past. It is a serious responsibility and wisdom is sought from the Lord for guidance in this task.
